Dimanche 23 Juin 2019, Hellfest acte 3
Il fait chaud, les températures se font difficiles à supporter… Les festivaliers ont du mal à se réveiller, entre les nuits bien arrosées et les nombreux concerts, la fatigue se fait ressentir. Mais petit à petit ils rejoignent les shows à venir, pour une journée qui s’annonce très sympa.
Pour ce dernier jour, je me suis principalement intéressée aux lieux du festival (décors, paysages, et autres), sans oublier nos chers festivaliers qui prennent plaisir à se déguiser et faire les fous.
C’est toujours un plaisir de prendre le temps de faire le tour des lieux, et de faire des photos pour montrer aux lecteurs comment le Hellfest est fait. Et pourquoi pas donner envie aux metalleux ou personnes pas forcement metal, qui ne sont encore jamais venues, d’avoir envie d’assister au festival.
J’ai également fait un détour par le supermarché Leclerc qui était spécialement décoré pour les 4 jours du festival, vous en verrez quelques photos.
Je reprends le chemin des mainstages 1 & 2 pour trois concerts : Anthrax & Lynyrd Skynyrd, Lamb of God.

It’s hot, the temperatures are difficult to bear … The festival-goers have a hard time waking up, between the well-watered nights and the numerous concerts, the fatigue is felt. But little by little they join the shows to come, for a day that looks very nice.
For this last day, I was mainly interested in the festival places (scenery, landscapes, and others), not to mention our dear festival-goers who take pleasure in disguising themselves and doing crazy things.
It’s always a pleasure to take the time to tour the site, and take pictures to show the readers how Hellfest is done. And why not give envy to metalheads or people not forcing metal, who have never come before, to want to attend the festival.
I also made a detour to the supermarket Leclerc which was specially decorated for the 4 days of the festival, you will see some pictures.
I go back to the mainstages 1 & 2 for three concerts: Anthrax & Lynyrd Skynyrd, Lamb of God.
Anthrax (18h45 / 19h35): mainstage 1,
Joey Belladonna, arrive sur scène avec énergie, pour lancer un show de bon vieux trash metal. Le public répond présent, avec des pogos et des slams.
Ses compatriotes, dont Scott Ian à la guitare, assurent entre les riffs, sautillant dans tous les sens, pour nous jouer les titres de la setlist, tel que : « Caught in a Mosh« , « Got the Time« , « Efilnikufesin (N.F.L.) » et bien d’autres. Le public est conquis, que demander de mieux pour réussir un concert. De bon artistes bien connus dans le monde du metal.
Vs English:
Joey Belladonna, comes on stage with energy, to launch a show of good old trash metal. The audience responds, with pogos and slams.
His compatriots, including Scott Ian on guitar, provide between the riffs, jumping in all directions, to play us the titles of the setlist, such as: « Caught in a Mosh« , « Got the Time« , « Efilnikufesin (NFL ) » and many others. The public is conquered, what better to ask for a successful concert. Good artists well known in the world of metal.

Lynyrd Skynyrd (19h40 / 20h40) mainstage 2,
Nous ne présentons plus Lynyrd Skynyrd , un groupe qui fait partie du monde du rock sudiste depuis 1964, et qui nous fait l’honneur de venir jouer au Hellfest, pour le plaisir des fans, avec des titres bien connus tels que : « Sweet home Alabama » ou « Free bird« .
Le groupe entre en scène sur l’intro de « Thunderstruck » de AC/DC (mon morceau préférée), et interprète les titres de la setlist : « Workin‘ for MCA« , « Skynyrd Nation » et bien d’autres. Du bon vieux rock américain, qui enflamme le mainstage 2, pour notre plus grand plaisir. Un très bon moment pour un super concert.

We are no longer presenting Lynyrd Skynyrd, a band that has been part of the southern rock world since 1964, and who gives us the honor to come and play Hellfest, for the fans’ pleasure, with well-known titles such as: « Sweet home Alabama « or » Free bird « .
The band comes on the intro of « Thunderstruck » from AC / DC (my favorite song), and interprets the titles of the setlist: « Workin ‘for MCA« , « Skynyrd Nation » and many others. Good old American rock, which ignites the mainstage 2, for our greatest pleasure. A very good time for a great concert.

Lamb Of God ( 20h45 / 21h45 ) mainstage 2,
Le groupe Lamb of God, nous arrive sur scène pour nous donner du bon metal moderne, pour une belle union à tous les styles de sonorités. Le premier titre : » Omerta « , » Ruin « , » Walk With Me in Hell » et bien d’autres titres, avec du son metal, le groove metal et bien d’autre style musical. Le public répond présent avec des pogos, des slams, vu l’heure, les fans se lâchent, pour mouvementer, la foule et le concert. Le groupe très actif envers les fans, présent ce soir. Un pur moment, pour tous.

The group Lamb of God, we arrive on stage to give us good modern metal, for a beautiful union to all styles of sounds. The first title: « Omerta« , « Ruin« , « Walk With Me in Hell » and many other titles, with metal sound, groove metal and many other musical styles. Fin des concerts pour ma part, mais je reste pour quelques photos de nuit des lieux. Les autres concerts sont sur liste, tels que : Slash ou Tool. Pour Slayer, ce n’était pas une bonne idée d’y aller, car certains photographes ne sont pas des plus sympathiques, et ne laissent pas le passage pour shooter le groupe.
J’ai préféré éviter de prendre des risques inutiles. Donc ma fin de soirée sera consacrée à faire le tour du Hellfest pour un shooting de nuit, c’est assez magique avec les flammes sur les bâtiments. Un univers bien différent de celui du jour.
Pour le mot de la fin : je dirais que le Hellfest a encore vendu du rêve pour nos amis fans de metal , de rock, de power metal et j’en passe. Quatre jours inoubliables avec un soleil digne du désert, ou les chapeaux, casquettes, bobs et crème solaire était obligatoires. Pour éviter insolations et coups de chaleur.
On a eu comme chaque année, le choix entre les restaurants, les bars, les buvettes, les stands, les points d’informations, même pour recharger son téléphone ou avoir des batteries externes à louer. Il y avait de tout, on ne manquait de rien.
La sécurité du site était bien présente, Le service PMR (cette année, j’ai eu droit), les bénévoles toujours là pour les festivaliers, franchement c’était au top. Que demander d’autre qu’un festival aussi bien organisé pour 4 jours ?
De bons groupes, pour le bonheur des festivaliers, que de bons souvenirs encore une fois à rapporter chez soi, avec je pense pour tout le monde, une post déprime Hellfest, comme chaque année :).

End of the concerts for me, but I stay for some night photos of places. The other concerts are on list, such as: Slash or Tool. For Slayer, it was not a good idea to go, because some photographers are not very nice, and do not leave the passage to shoot the group.
I preferred to avoid taking unnecessary risks. So my end of the night will be devoted to go around the Hellfest for a night shoot, it’s quite magical with the flames on the buildings. A universe very different from that of the day.
For the last word: I would say that the Hellfest has sold a dream for our friends fans of metal, rock, power metal and so on.
Four unforgettable days with a sun worthy of the desert, where hats, caps, bobs and sunscreen were mandatory. To avoid sunstrokes and heat stroke.
We had as every year, the choice between restaurants, bars, refreshments, stands, information points, even to charge his phone or have external batteries for rent. There was everything, we did not miss anything.
The security of the site was present, the service PMR (this year, I was entitled), the volunteers always there for festival-goers, frankly it was at the top. What to ask for other than a festival as well organized for 4 days?
Good bands, for the happiness of the festival-goers, only good memories once again to bring home, with I think for everyone, a post Depression Hellfest, like every year :).
